What Grows On in Rhode Island!

There's nothing like face-to-face meetups ~ we need to know each other personally and work together to accomplish what needs doing. A garden tour video is just not the same thing as being IN the garden on a beautiful afternoon, and neither is an online forum anything like Green Drinks!

Rhode Islanders are meeting each other all over the place these days. The Farmers' Markets, for instance, not only provide food but also a way to run into others who share your environmental concerns. Several regular meetups occur monthly, most notably four Green Drinks groups in Providence, Newport, Westerly, and another in different locations in South County. The Food Forum in February and the Land and Water Summit in March are other great networking opportunities.
